    Scheduling a two week vacation to visit friends in late Aug/early Sep. This will include a visit to Mackinac Island to hike all of the trails. Two week relaxation and recreation, it will be great.

    Funny having learned about that place from MTV's "Catfish". But that was in the winter, making it less then easy to get there. Should make for a great hike.

    I hate it when people leave their used heroin needles on the sidewalk outside of my office. That's when I have to put on the double latex gloves to pick them up and dispose of them.

    You truly have to weigh the liability of doing the right thing these days. Or you may be taken to court and lose everything. I personally think about the liability of everything.

    For me it's the taste (of coke) that's addictive, not the caffeine. Unless it's the caffeine that gives coke that flavour, I could easily be addicted to drinking coke without the caffeine.

    Slowing down a caffeine intake can be beneficial but a less harmful way is that Mio water enhancer and similar products which are a low sugar option.

    Having a 4K movie marathon tonight. I started with Heavy Metal, continued with Requiem for a Dream, and now I am starting Aliens.

    I just watched Heavy Metal in 4K, blaring through my speakers and shaking my couch with the subwoofer. One of John Candy’s best films.

    I just watched a crazy woman repeatedly assault a man on the bus a couple of minutes ago. She got kicked off the bus and I wonder what will happen with her after that. I hope she gets arrested eventually.

    I feel like I want some company this weekend, alas all of my local friends will be busy so I have to learn to be my own company for a while. Or one of you can play Xbox with me over the Internet, there's always that option.

    I have a cold so I am working from home today. I made several outgoing calls so far. I worry when I make phone calls because I know I was born with a speech impediment.

    I feel like going to a nice beachside town for a week, eating seafood for dinner every night and reading a couple of novels on the beach while I get a tan. I dislike winter weather.

    I love the beach but it makes me want to get on my SCUBA gear and dive.
    Winter here has been a bust. We only got out showshoeing about 4 times and XC-skiing once. Now there is no snow and the temperatures are all over the place.
