    I just met my newest client, an elderly woman with an adorable Swedish Vallhund, Rosie. Swedish Vallhunds are one of my favorite breeds, and one of the breeds I have handled professionally in dog shows. They are rare so I'm really surprised there is one in my town. I will obviously post pictures of her once I get back to working regularly. I'm still kind of supposed to be resting but I wanted to meet with the client.

    Having very bad GI upset again. I didn't eat anything weird for breakfast, I have been eating mostly bland stuff (with the exception of squash, apple sauce, and yogurt) since the doctor told me to eat bland stuff the other day. But now I have really bad stomach cramps and I want to cry :( IBD is a common comorbid with a chronic disease that I have, so this isn't new, but it's gotten worse. I never get a break! :(

    One of my passions is obviously creating and editing videos, and my girlfriend is a photography student, so she wants to work on a project with her friend, with our combined talents, in the morning. I'm always up for creating video content so I will happily get out of bed for this lol. I just hope I can cover the scrape on my nose with makeup.

    I actually realized that I should probably put a bandage on it. I just don't want to ruin the pictures with a bandage or a visible injury. She assured me that I won't, I just feel bad because it's her project.

    In case anyone is worried about me being alone after my accident, I’m not, my girlfriend is taking care of me. I just don’t mention her a lot on here because I like to keep my relationship private and offline. Just wanted to clear that up in case anyone thought I was going through this alone.

    I obviously have to walk my dogs, and I'm dreading going outside with this bandage on my face. I hope everyone will just ignore it. They probably all think I'm weird anyways. Especially if they heard me screaming and cursing when I fell down the stairs yesterday, and saw me get in my car with blood all over my face and my shirt, and peel out of the driveway at 50mph. I hope they don't think it was domestic violence.

    If your face gets cut it bleeds more profusely than other parts of the body--I think if they have a problem with you wearing a bandage then that's not good, but if they're concerned for you, that's a sign of being a decent person.

    I'm not a huge rap fan generally speaking, but I do like bbno$ (pronounced baby no money) and I think the flow of this song is pretty good.
    I don't think there are a lot of other people on here who listen to rap and hip-hop so I don't know who I'm posting this for lol. @Aspychata you might like it.

    Here’s the damage. I tried to make it lighthearted but it still looks bad. And yes, my nose is still a bit crooked. I really don’t want surgery though.
    That is not still bleeding, the skin is just missing.

    Ouch indeed! :-( Just thought I'd mention, if you can apply something like aqueous cream to keep the wound moisturised it should help minimise scarring. Don't use anything with perfume of chemicals. I think E45 cream is basically just aqueous cream :) I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there won't be one anyways!

    Ugh… I’m starting to get black eyes and the cut on my nose is going to be a huge scar.
    Oh well. At least I’m alive and avoided surgery. Hopefully it will heal quickly and I won’t need a nose job. Unfortunately I will probably have to get my septum re-pierced but that’s the least of my worries right now.

    Wow Luca! I don't think I could have driven myself anywhere in that condition. You did great! I don't blame you for screaming and swearing, I think it was appropriate! I really hope that you will feel a million times better in a couple of days! :)

    At the hospital… again… this time I fell down the stairs and landed right on my face. I possibly have a broken nose and I broke my glasses (fortunately not the good ones.) Hopefully I get out of this mess without surgery…

    I didn’t need surgery but they reset my nose and it really hurt!! I’m home in bed and on medication.

    Oh no! :-( I'm so sorry this happened Luca. I've developed a tendancy to fall over quite a lot. The fall is unpleasant enough without even getting on to being injured. Take care! I really hope you will be all better soon :-)

    Since a lot of what I do with my life is overcoming things I am afraid of, and trying to help people, I decided that I'm going to go back to school in the fall to pick up where I left off, and finish my BSW in social work. I have six classes left, I can do this. What I want to do with the degree is train therapy dogs and service dogs. I'm not going to let people bully me out of college again. I'm almost 30!

    Once again, YouTube is pushing anti-body-positivity content at me, and I'm not even signed into my account this time. I wonder if Google looks at what size clothing I purchase, and then tries to bodyshame me through YouTube??!! I would very much not be surprised.

    Went back to REI today to try on some running sneakers. Enzo made friends with every person in the store.

    I saw someone walking an English Pointer today that I'm convinced was related to Enzo. He was identical to my best friend's dog who is Enzo's cousin. I wish I had taken a picture of him to show my friend, because if it was a dog that he bred, he would obviously be able to identify him. Just really interesting because you never see Pointers here. I was driving so I didn't want to be a weirdo and pull over and ask lol

    One time I found a cat on an adoption thing in my area that was just as old as my childhood cat and was the same colour (tuxedo) and had similar markings + similar facial features. I wanted him so bad because I was pretty sure he was her litter mate, but he got adopted before I could look into it more.

    I find it funny that artwork, and media portrayals of girls with tattoos and piercings always makes them look goth/grunge, or intimidating. Because I have tattoos and piercings and I'm the polar opposite of goth, I look like a rainbow threw up on a kindergartener's lunchbox lol

    I enjoy all the nonconformists here. I really think the world is better for having us around. One way that I remain nonconformist is in my travels. I know so many people who go on "canned" trips or to walled-off resorts. Preplanned for incurious people. I do my homework and burrow into the culture.
