    Catch up

Long time no see for some of you, hello to new comers since I've taken a step back from this forum to focus more on life. Thought I'd make a thread about just how I've been getting on with life in the past year or so. So where am I now? I currently have an apprenticeship in the ICT department...

Just had email from the Undateables

Yeah, I had them approach me too in a similar way on Twitter. But kind of did it in a way that wasn't a direct ask.

    Need help with asperger kid

Well it won't be that he can't speak. Asperger's Syndrome does not mean a person with it has difficulty talking. Often quite the opposite. But that's not to say he doesn't feel anxious about talking. I would say you're approaching him at the wrong angle if you're trying to teach him words.

What age was your child (or you) diagnosed with ASD?

Yes. But of course the important word there is diagnosed. Not developed it. You are born with autism, you don't developed it later on in life. Just want to make that crystal. I was diagnosed at the age of 25 with Asperger's. I have a second cousin who has Asperger's too. Born in the same year...

    Am I ugly? Or average?

You were probably reviewed there by some mass of tentacles with three heads which turn all the way round. I.e something which is disgusting to look at and jealous. Seriously don't put yourself out there like this. You're only going to be roasted on the internet which won't do your mood any...

    New World of Warcraft trailer.

I stopped playing when Blizzard started sucking up to China over Hong Kong. I might reconsider my stance if they shape up a bit. I would like to play Shadowlands from the onset this time.

    Controversial - Android or iOS?

Android here. I own a OnePlus 7 on Android 10 beta version 3. Not a fan of the gestures on it although I still use it. You swipe up to remove a tab and sometimes it just closes back on the home page - that's not what I asked to do. But I don't mind too much. I opted for the beta version anyway...

    spectrumnews.org

It's an interesting website. I personally don't think it's all about trying to cure it. Although if what happens to autism that has happened to Down Syndrome - in the sense that it's detectable in utero then that would not be good! It's a fairly well balanced website in my view.

    Hard Game coming out.

Own it and it's a pretty good game if you like those sort of management/builder games. My problem with it though is that it couldn't hold my attention for long. But then again I find medication affects how long I can play games for nowadays. I've always been quite keen on Crusader Kings 2. A...

    Dear Wellbutrin,

Yeah. I think people ape up the negative stories of medication so much that the success stories fall to the wayside. It's important to keep a balanced view of these things and remind yourself that even if someone says they had a rotten time with a medication, that's them and that isn't your...
