  • Feeling happy and I just saw a Cenzontle (I don't know the name in English... Mockingbird?)

You are very welcome @Gerontius I like their name in Spanish a lot because of how it's linked to the prehispanic culture

From what I've seen I think they're very shy birds and seeing one out of my window made me very happy!

Here's the one I used to have. She wasn't fully grown and had gotten flattened by a car way out in the country. In South Carolina we get plenty of mockingbirds and they are quite common urban birds here, as long as they have shrubs/low trees and grass for habitat. They are fond of eating fruits and insects instead of bird-seed so they're not going to sit on a feeder much. Mine ate catfood.

    OMG she's so beautiful! @Gerontius

The one I saw was a male, gray back and yellow chest and was eating a berry, there's a mulberry tree outside my window (we call them mora llorona) and a lot of birds hang out there on occasion to eat the berries but I don't see the Cenzontles much, I see house finches a lot and white-crowned sparrows too (I can't remember if the red ones are house finches)
Again, I didn't sleep well... Gosh darn it!

It's only going to get harder as we get older. The lucky ones are the ones that can sleep like the dead at any time during the day or night.

My grandpa was one of those lucky people.

My problem is that my aunt is visiting and the room she's staying in is next to my room, she watched the tv at full volume until 1 am

Edit: I'm one of those people who can sleep well, but if I'm sleeping and I'm woken up it's VERY hard for me to fall asleep again

I get it. I had to grapple with things for alot of my life that made sleep hard. There are some houses that have attic fans. The house my parents live in has one of those. It took me a long time to adjust to that thing running, when I use to live there. It's noisy as heck.
Oreo is leaving Mexico? No more Oreo cookies in Mexico? I need an adult! (Adult being Google in this case)

I already googled it and it was a publicity campaign @tree @MildredHubble but that was scary and not a very good campaign... Why not put it on April's fool day (which we celebrate in... November?)

What a silly idea 😆 Where do these corporations get these ideas from?

I figured you'd read about it, but other people might not have.
The company wouldn't post it on April Fools Day because
    it wasn't a joke.
It was an advertising campaign designed to provoke interest,
    and continued sales.

Everyday is laundry day for us here too. Though it's namely shirts, socks, and undergarments. Pants, shorts, or other things are once in a while washes. Bedsheets are once a week on Fridays.

I'm not going to say laundry isn't tedious. It is. I've done laundry mats before when I've lived on my own. When you have ALOT of clothes, it can be very hard. Which is why I like being on top of it, by doing it daily. Especailly since it's me and my Uncle.
Coffee was pretty meh today... Probably I shouldn't have mixed different brands 🙄🙃

    IXxTchxXI
I am running out of coffee and found a bit of a left over I had from another jar and mixed it... So the jar would look fuller and I'd be a bit less sad that I'm running out of coffe

But let me tell you @Judge, that was a BAD idea 🙃🙃

Coffee is coffee as long as it's iced decaf and creamed.
    IXxTchxXI
    IXxTchxXI
Not really @Tony Ramirez at least here in Mexico it does taste different, Chiapas coffee is a bit more sour and Veracruz coffee has more of a dark chocolate taste
I was going to wear my hair... Which is a weird way of phrasing it... I don't know if that's the correct way... Anyway my hair was going to be wild and loose today but I ended up tying it up in a bun. Feeling pretty! 💜🖤☺️
My belly hurts and I wonder why... If it was hot sauce then so be it because I refuse to stop eating spicy sauces!
    Xinyta
    Xinyta
The saying that 'you cannot have too much of a good thing'. That depends alot on the body. And everyone is unique in that way.

I'm not saying to stop having hot sauce. But more so, being wary of the amount and frequency. Granted it's the culprit.
    IXxTchxXI
    IXxTchxXI
I don't know if it's the culprit because I eat it once or twice a week and it has never given me issues

I kinda broke my "very little red meat" self-imposed rule and had some pork rinds yesterday and I think they're the culprit because I stick to white meats mostly and have done so for a while... So I'd rather stop eating pork rinds and see if that was the problem
    Xinyta
    Xinyta
It could be the meat, or it could be the manufactured processing. Alot of food that is especially store bought, is inundated with chemicals that poison the body. Slowly.

However, I am not dismissing that it could be white meat related.
Just had a fresh and warm corn tortilla with cheese, there's nothing better in the world!

Maybe coffee and potato chips.... And other things... Maybe I should've phrased that differently
3 days in a row being woken up by the same loud car with a loud engine and loud music... Thank you, random monk looking over some goats for discovering Coffee 😸😸🧟‍♀️🧟‍♀️

I've got one of those idiots in my apartment complex. Always plays his car audio system loud enough for the entire city to hear it at all hours.

That sounds awful! One of my neighbors did it and I called the cops right away
    Strangely feeling calm... 🤔🤔🤔
    IXxTchxXI
    IXxTchxXI
Its weird, feels like calm before the storm tho... 🤔🤔🤔 Like some really bad stuff is going to happen 🤔🤔🤔🤔
    Xinyta
    Xinyta
Maybe. Maybe not. Which is why enjoying that moment of calm, is all the more important. No matter what happens, you can't say you didn't enjoy yourself while it lasted. No sense worring about what's coming, when what's currently happening matters more.
