    Is it just me?

Is it just me, or does Betty Boop kind of creep anyone else out? It's that head of hers, it's a little wider than her shoulders. I don't know why it creeps me out, but it does. I mean, she'd actually be hot if her head was in normal proportion with the rest of her body.

    Coffee /Tea...

In the past few years, I've developed a taste for flavored iced tea, especially making my own... Sometimes, when I go somewhere with a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, I get a large iced tea, but only fill it halfway, and add a mixture of strawberry lemonade and peach lemonade, that's my favorite...

    Losing a limb

(Wasn't sure where to put this, since it doesn't really pertain to autism spectrum/Aspergers...) I'm writing this from my bed at a rehab hospital, where I'm currently recovering from having my left leg amputated below the knee. I got a blister on my left foot that got infected(partially due to...

Any classic 70s or 80s rock fans here?

First concert I ever went to was KISS on the Dynasty tour in 1979... Some of the other bands from 70s-80s l like are: Led Zeppelin Beatles(yeah, I know they're more 60s, but hey...) Duran Duran Def Leppard Iron Maiden Judas Priest AC/DC Guns 'N' Roses(back when they were actually good) Motley Crue

    Is this age appropriate discipline.

Sounds like this wouldn't be appropriate for adults, either... I'm almost 50,and if someone told me "do it again, and do it right," without telling me what I did wrong, I would get frustrated to the point of meltdown... sounds like abuse to me..

"If you were on the spectrum, you'd know it" ???

I wasn't diagnosed until I was in my early 40s, in fact, the idea of me even being on the spectrum wasn't even brought up until I was in my 30s... Of course, I came up at a time when people didn't know much about autism, if people were aware of it, they probably thought everyone with autism was...

Did your parents try to take away your special interests?

When I was a kid, my special interests were KISS and Star Wars, which my mom had no problems with(she even took me to see KISS once)... However, my dad and stepmonster (and no, that's not a typo, I really didn't get along with her at the time) had a problem with it, they took both interests away...
