What is your Briggs-Myers personality type?

It tells me I am INFP. But with everything, I suppose it depends on the situation.

    Aspies and Lying

I am a horrible lier. I have tried to tell lies and my facial expressions always give me away. I cannot make eye contact when I lie and I just plain look guilty. So I don't bother.

Fictional Characters whom you think have Asperger/autism

I don't think so. She wants so badly to join society and embraces all of it as soon as she can — the people, the bar fights, the strangers, family... the life she always wanted. She goes into the city and starts singing, dancing, and hugging people. Not very aspie like.

    Do You Have Empathy?

I think I am this way too. People describe me as cold because I put up walls, but I do this to protect myself because I feel way too much. Many things affect me deeply so I avoid the news, emotional movies, and sometimes avoid taking an interest in people's lives because I can't turn it off...

How lonely and alone are you?

Totally agree with this. Most of the time I feel just fine being alone, I prefer it actually. I like the quiet to work on my writing and graphic design. I hated when I had to work with other people. Too distracting! I get so much more done being self-employed. And when in social circumstances, I...

Loves me some grumpy cat! I saw someone at Halloween dressed like grumpy cat, but it is impossible to maintain that look.

The last thing that made you laugh

Yes, it was a response to the binary stereotyping of the images in which men thought about sex and women shoes. As I stated, "I find this offensive to both genders."

The last thing that made you laugh

I find this kind of gender stereotyping dull, irrelevant, and offensive to both genders. I think men are able to think beyond their genitals and women beyond the quest for better shoes.

I'm an expert at flirting because...

I agree with Christy. Women may attract the male gaze, but if you avoid that - then their attraction means nothing in terms of real life. I shy away from assertive men, at least, I use to when I dated.

I'm an expert at flirting because...

Awesome soup! Being a smaller woman, I sometimes feel vulnerable when lots of men are around. I don't know if men ever feel that way. I don't go out much and usually when I do my husband is with me. But sometimes when I am by myself and there are men ogling me... it makes me nervous. Of course...

The Big Bang Theory and its effect on the perception of Asperger's

I am a fan of the show. Sometimes it is smart and funny, and other times it is annoying stupid. But I enjoy it. I still prefer Community though. If you want a great comedy with an admitted aspie character, watch it. There are more authentic moments in it.
