Should I be offended that someone called me a robot? How do I be less robotic?

Seeming 'robotic' isn't always a bad thing. It can mean you're not controlled by your emotional reactions, have the ability to view a situation objectively and are more likely to respond in a sensible, logical way. If this applies to you I don't think you need to "fix" it - just keep being you! :)

Moving Past the "Asperger Syndrome" Label

This is an interesting perspective. I'm actually currently doing my dissertation on the removal of Asperger's Syndrome from the DSM so this gives me more things to keep in mind!

Does anyone with ASD find driving stressful?

I am terrified of learning to drive. I think the prospect of one-on-one interaction with the instructor scares me more than actually driving though. I'm 21 and all of my friends can drive already, and I've never even had a lesson yet

LONDON - Seeking Individuals with a Diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome for dissertation project

Thank you for your response! If I struggle to recruit all 10 participants my supervisor might let me loosen the criteria, so if that happens I will let you know?
