    the opposite of you?

What are some words or phrases you'd use to describe the OPPOSITE of you? (I thought of this question while walking my dog this morning.) Here are a few opposites for me: Trendy Hipster Conforming Trusting Relaxed

    New Year’s

In the old days I’d watch Guy Lombardo’s orchestra televised from the Waldorf Astoria. Wanted to be one of the men dancing in tuxedos. I miss that elegance.

    Do you talk to yourself?

Related issue: sometimes in public I’ll “hear” in my mind a funny joke or comment I remember from before and start visibly and audibly laughing at it. That’s when strangers really try to keep their distance from me.

Have any autistic people on this forum created a product?

Judge, I loved the VacuForm - including the smell! Was lucky enough to have an uncle who was a toy designer at Mattel in that era. Lots of free stuff.

    Struggles following late diagnosis

With diagnosis in my 60s, I couldn't help grieving a little for the younger person I might have been. I recommend the book "Very Late Diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome" by Philip Wylie.

Regression with age (Does autism get worse?)

I realized once again today that I've become MORE Aspergian over time. The example: driving home with my wife. Years ago I used to reach over and hold her hand. Now I really don't want to do that kind of thing, though I can force myself. But the direction I'm going is more closed off to...

How do you know if an Aspie likes you, more than just friends?

For me, clear and simple answers are easiest to understand. But if you ask directly, you have to be prepared for the possibility of an answer you don’t want to hear.
