I've obviously mentioned that my husband and I are Nashville Predators fans (hockey team.) So is one of our friends. My best friend, however, is a Buffalo Sabres fan. The Preds are playing the Sabres tonight and we're all watching the game at our house.
My dad (also a [former] hockey goalie) said "Looks like someone's getting voted off the island" 😂

My friends who are in their early 20s (most of them men, mind you) like to have sleepovers, watch hockey games eating nachos, and hang out at the bowling alley. When I was 20-21, my friends and I were sneaking into bars, and traveling a lot.
I kind of love that young people nowadays have a renewed sense of joy and innocence.

Same dynamic regarding working in the San Francisco Bay Area. My solution? I left California period. Sadly though Nevada's cost of living has skyrocketed since then.

However I suspect the same dynamic exists elsewhere...particularly in terms of expanding high-tech hubs spread out all over the US. That said, you might also consider the state of North Carolina.

This female friend might be geniune. I had so many meltdowns, panic attacks, text messages that were so dark I can't share here. Let's just say last years because of people I trusted a motherly figure named P.. bought me to a cafe of 143 days of being ostracized. Then feeling like college. Healing trusting people new church going to meetups meeting J.. breadcrumb blocked new church + other's hurt. Now 6+ old church

Until the library staff was mean to mean the same woman that refused to help me thru other day get my card. Even her coworker made fun of me. I reacted with a meltdown. I was suicidal. My friend again answered back when I was suicidal when no one cared. Thank God she understands me.

@Markness works part time in a library so he understands how rude staff members are especially against Neurodivergent people. It's much worse in New York City.

Great movie snacks. Do you actually bring them to the theater like I do? I sneak them in my backpack. I am an invisible ghost so no one cares when I go to the theater 100% of the time alone in NYC.
