Happy birthday!

Hope your day is wonderful 💛🤍💜🖤
I find it bizarre that bubbly, happy teenage girls die horribly from cancer by 18, yet those who would welcome an early, natural death have to either live long, healthy lives or make a noose from a belt and hope it works as intended.

I wish I was dead at that age with the life I have now

Nothing, but nothing, beats a Chicago Dog, a Vienna Beef Hot Dog dragged through the garden. Never, ever, put ketchup on a hot dog.
Here it is:

My favorite place to have one is at the South end of the North Branch Bicycle Trail. Here it is; Superdawg.

No ketchup on a hot dog?

Here in Mexico we put mayo, ketchup, mustard in some of ours

There's a place where I live that wraps the wiener in bacon, then they put melted cheese and other goodies on it and they're GOOD

Other parts they will even put crushed chips (crisps) on them, but I've never tried them like that

All except the ketchup. In Chicago you never ask for ketchup on a hot dog. The bacon cheese dog sounds like a party for your taste buds.

"blocked by the girl I meet at that damn meetup two months ago. I am personally going to get it shut down" sounds to me like you feel you have been treated unfairly and want to get even.

I'm sorry. Should have listened to me in that thread two months ago Tony, would have saved you all the false hope and bitter disappointment. The signals were clear.

Maintaining realistic expectation is useful.
I found a place to collect acorns too. Acorns have to "cure" over the winter though.

After they are cured are the acorns for eating?

Yes. The acorns have to be shelled, then the nutmeat is smashed into a powder (pre-colonization this was done with mortar and pestle, today it's with a blender) then the powder is mixed with water and boiled until the bitter "tannin" is leached out.
Will climate change eventually turn the (former by then) USA into a land of wandering nomadic hunter gatherers? Next year the state will likely resume selling civilian fishing licenses for the Klamath River. Yummy salmon.

I see the USA descending into a brutal monarchy where anybody who says anything bad about the king is immediately put to death.

Monarchy? Not really. Look at Hungary under Orban, Russia under Putin. More like authoritarian semi-dictatorship. Our dictator is nowhere near as smart as those two men though.
My only complaint so far about Twink Peaks is that it makes me crave donuts and pie, gosh darn it

As a gay man, I would gladly watch a series like Twink Peaks. :)

Learning how fireworks work (it is not something you should try at home).

I was 11 years old when they banned fireworks here, so my friend and I learnt how to make our own explosives out of household chemicals and had a lot of fun exploding meat ant's nests. :)
Twin Peaks is getting quite good

I know, right? Here’s a tip. Watch Fire Walk With Me only after you have finished season 2. Then go on to season 3 which surprisingly is as good as the first two seasons were.

Thank you @Metalhead I'm still not done with season 2 but will definitely check out the whole series

¡Hola cacerola!

I will be changing my username (whenever I can) to Tamalito, I'm letting y'all know so you don't get confused when you see my new username

I will give a heads up whenever I do it as well

Why did you stop using the old one? I paid for membership on that for you. Membership was cheap back then. Don't take that personally, I sponsored about a dozen memberships because I thought the forum was worth what I was paying.

I forgot my password and can't use the email associated to the account, plus, I'd rather start with a clean slate

That person I was back then I am no more, and the posts I did only remind me of how bad I was mentally

Thank you for sponsoring me, amiguis, I really appreciate it 💜🖤
LOL The so-called local "property owner's association" only contacts me once a year to demand a yearly "fee". It's not too much money and for the other 364 days a year they are invisible. Hey, if I have to pay protection money, fine as long as you don't try to micromanage me.

That's about all they do. The subdivision is quite remote so there isn't any reason to fear severed horse heads. I also don't know if anybody is willing to push us around out here-the residents are not only very independent but very armed as well.

Everybody owns their own land, this isn't a mobile home park where some big corporation owns everything. Everybody pays their own property taxes and is responsible for their individual parcel.

All the houses we owned, none had HOAs. But that was in MN. Everything in FL has a HOA attached to it.
