I had to apply to work at a call center again, I dreaded that job the first time I did it but I really need the money 😞
Being tired from work is almost refreshing compared to fatigue from mental stuff. This is very strange; it is a gentle stressfree rest that is not like fatigue.

I have that when work makes me too tired to worry

Just discovered that recently myself. Built the turret thing, involved a lot of contorting myself into odd positions to get at the screws, and boy howdy was I sore afterwards. But it was like... this bizarre "satisfying" soreness. Which is new to me.
The line between good and evil runs through the human heart. -Aleksandr Solzhenistiyn, Soviet dissident (greatly paraphrased)

All the good belongs to us, all the evil to the them, therefore any evil done to the other is justified and righteous.
There is something infinitely exciting about getting a planner for the new year. I love how it sits there on my bookshelf and reminds me that at least a few parts of life are ordered and settled.

LOL - my planners all have nothing but pages of doodles.
Been bisy a bee working on my Etsy page The Awkward Elephant Craft Studio. Looking for some insight and constructive feedback so if you're bored, maybe have a shop of your own and want to check it out https://theawkwardelephant.etsy.com Been trying to busy my brain away from the pain from my TBI and keep the focus on positive things like sewing 😊

Well, I mixed some baking soda in some pond water (it finally rained again), and the bacteria just stopped moving.
My dad decided to buy a second car. He was a bit concerned that it seemed a bit lacking in power and couldn't make it up hills, so he asked me to check it. After looking at a couple of things I decided to check the air filter, and when I opened it there was enough corn kernels in there to supply an entire movie theater with pop corn and a very badly damaged filter! 😸

I figured it was likely a mouse had crawled in there. I checked as much of the wiring as I could and it seems fine as everything is working as it should. As whimsical as it would be to have a car that shoots plooms of popcorn out of the exhaust, I'm glad I found the problem before any real damage occurred :-)

Is it a Hyundai-made car (Hyundai and Kia nameplates)? Hyundai is notorious for not putting covers over the entry points to the engine and cabin air filters, and rodents LOVE to crawl up in there and make happy homes. In many Hyundai cars the cabin air filter is behind the glove box compartment. Check that too. My uncle had to put mesh over the openings in my Kia Soul.

And yeah check the wiring, in many cars, not just Hyundais, the wire insulation is made out of soybean based plastic so the companies can get climate regulator brownie points, and rodents love to munch on it. I've read of many cases where the rodents eat pretty much the entire wiring harness, and the insurance company totals the car.
I cannot rely on others for my spiritual and emotional liberation. I have to dig it out from deep within myself and grab it with my own hands.
The Internet totally sucks. It was a mistake.

I had more fun on Prodigy....before the Internet. Before hacking, firewalls and anti-virus concerns. And I still recall how depressed I was about having to go Whole Earth Access and buy a firewall program. Everything began to change.

Prodigy was just a way to access the internet. The internet existed as far back as the 1970s.

No- "Prodigy was an online service that operated from 1984 to 2001, before the widespread use of the Internet. It was one of the major online services in the 1990s, providing access to various networked services." -Wikipedia. Prodigy use involved a proprietary network and GUI before the Internet.

The Internet was "Arapanet" from 1972 to 1991. Closed to the public as a DOD communications research project.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Idiots will be idiots, but I can change myself if I want to.
Now is a great time for me to avoid most social media and all news outlets. Now is a bad time for me to be a gay man in my country.

Most antiperspirants contain metal, I wonder if you can see that. Aluminium oxide, almost the same product we use to make cement.
