The only time I have a sense of relief from my neck injury or PCS is when I leave my physio session with my neck/back black and blue. This would be a good time to insert a masochist joke. But we all know the much more mundane truth. Sensory processing issues and deep rooted tension are real. Lol🤣

Is putting an NHL team logo on a flannel shirt a good or a stupid idea? I'm not sure. Lol. But it is an actual licensed product, he didn't make this or anything.
My husband is the kind of person where basically everything he wears has to advertise his special interest. I will admit to having a fair amount of dog shirts but I think 90% of his wardrobe is Preds stuff lol

From watching the weather reports for your area , I'd say flannel is quite popular right now with just about everyone. ;)

Could be awkward here though. Next week it is supposed to reach 85 degrees.

I’ve been quiet for the past day or so because I’m helping my best friend who is really struggling with his anxiety. We’re having a sleepover right now, and I’ve put on some meditation music for him and having a snuggle. Just a reminder that everyone is going through something ❤️‍🩹

I didn't but it always scared me. A quake only lasts a couple of minutes usually, but when you're trying to prevent your prize aquarium from breaking it seems like a very long time. :)

I guess I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I love the crash of thunder, especially when the lightning prepares me for a loud sound that in other circumstances I would be repelled. But here in the High Desert it pays to keep on eye on lightning strikes, particularly in any serious absence of rain. Dry lightning is what so easily sets the desert on fire here. When you want to immediately contact the fire department.

The temps are fluctuating madly and alternate between too cold, and then too warm for a good maple flow. After boiling, I have barely a quart so far.

If I had money to invest, I'd bet on a scarcity of maple syrup in the near future.

3rd ER visit in a week. Beginning to wonder if I should sue the insurance company for negligence in not approving a wheelchair for me. My body is so weakened now from six months in bed, that I have a bunch of resulting health problems. Every time a doctor finds out I've been stuck at home, they blame my resulting debility for my weakness and illness.

I know of two couples that do video and the wife is able bodied wife/husband in chair.
One advantage of having husband in chair, both wives agreed, *never have to
carry packages.*

Absolutely true. After shopping, I can hang some of the bags on the headrest. The rest, I can lace through the seatbelt as I strap the seatbelt around my waist. So I don't really have to carry bags either.

Heavy boxes weigh almost nothing when they're just placed on my lap in the wheelchair. So I can carry big boxes pretty far. Like if we're going to the post office or something.
