They wonder about Stevie Wonder

So, I'm new to this craic. I was into social media but gave it up completely during lockdown. Between whatever was going on with me(autism and cancer) at the time and the falsity of media itself, I was happy to say good luck. It changed, social media from when I first went on it. Then again, when I was first part of it I had no idea I was autistic,so in one sense I was an actor, playing the part of Joe soap.
I'm 36 years old, I've struggled since I could walk. I moved to Cork from across the pond around 1991, I later found out that I was adopted to which I attributed most of my social problems. Autism and adoptee trauma is the ultimate cocktail,it's really something else.
Anyone else here struggle with built up,busy or urban environments?
Anyone else here live their life in hermitage? I'd love to hear from ye. Stephen.

I like urbanity, as long as I'm an observer, and am not in a rush to get places. I enjoy looking at interesting architecture or listening in on what people are saying. I also really like going on long hikes and being in nature, so it's not an either/or thing for me. I'm not adopted, but my grandfather (on my mother's side) was, and my father doesn't know who his biological father is, so I am familiar with it second hand (which of course is not the same as living through it).

I really hope something could be done regarding the cancer. A friend of mine had cancer removed along with half her thyroid gland last year. She was 24 at the time but it seems like it didn't spread to the other half. I'm glad to see you on the forums, and hope you'll stick around. I know we have other adoptees and hermits on the forums, and a lot of members who dislike urbanity. The blog part of the site just isn't visited that frequently.
