Do what you do best in

I am thinking of things and ideas in theories.

Well, most people I know strive hard to get a degree. Most do indeed attain good degrees, and are qualified to do a lot of professional stuff.

But recently, because of drastic syllabi changes and other social upheavals that I know, there are obviously smart people who just didn't make it, to a target that we thought will be reachable. It led us to think that, well, maybe we need to adapt? Maybe we need to get another 'better' degree and get academic help for that, even though we are really, really inclined in one area?

I see that there is no two same ways of success. Even in countries where there are only one societal system, where everybody only can have a degree to contend for high-paying, high-societal standing jobs, obviously this brings little benefit to them if they are slightly weaker than other people, in an area of work they are in but they are not truly best in.

If others around you are accountants, financial controllers, bankers, lawyers and engineers - surely there are other jobs that we, in this society, can also consider. Who knows our areas of interests, no matter how 'odd' it is, can survive the long tail? And we don't have to fight our way through the societal hierarchy, toiling ourselves emotionally?

In this way, we won't grumble and do nothing. We won't resign our lives to mere passive living. And we'll be able to live our dreams.

I hope we all can lead long, happy and fulfilling lives, so we can all make the world a better place. And that we'll understand our fears, hurts and unhappiness - and try to make them the source of our strengths
