I and my father brainstormed for a few ideas, I hope this works out.
We thought of an idea
of a new comprehensive printing service.
We try to computerize printed materials -
we enlarge the documents,
scan it to a computer,
and save it.
We hope printing an A4 page price is less than 3 Singapore cents per page (in current price),
and we that we provide binding service and other relevant document services.
Partnership with Xerox, Canon or other printing companies may help things,
But there is always a need to look for other alternatives.
Preferably, the printer is a company,
and provides enough revenue to attract a steady revenue of income for PSEs
and possibly other disadvantaged groups,
like other disabled people and elderly people (who may serve as mentors and guides for PSEs),
and that we'll gain government grants as we do good across sectors in society,
While we complement them as well as we can.
We need a scanner that scans multiple documents at the same time,
a commercial printing machine to lease,
technical expertise such as programmers and accountants,
a few special needs and unemployed elder workers,
some business expertise,
as well as funding.
As for me, I thought of another idea.
Looking at the active posting about media in general,
I though perhaps we should set up a media production group.
We can make videos, photos, IT animations and even writing on demand,
based on feedback from most of my local autism support group members' interests in the media in general.
We don't have to commute to a place most of the time - so long as the work is done.
We hope our efforts will improve the special needs community as a whole.
