My kids believe in Christmas.
Because I didn't dare do otherwise.
But, personally, I had great reluctance in allowing my children to pour their heart & soul into a false belief that will end up breaking their heart.
Everyone says I'm taking it too seriously. I'm spoiling the 'point of it'...
My mother was my worst enemy throughout almost her whole life.
That changed in the 4 months before she died.
Grateful as I am to have had even that short time, without fights or resentment, I do regret the tragedy in having less than 6 months to enjoy her company.
