How does your virtual or online persona differentiate between that of your real personality? Personally, I'm obviously a lot more talkative and open up a lot more behind the safety of a computer screen to a pretty large extent. :P That's the key difference that I think will be true for a lot of people. I find it a lot easier to describe how I'm feeling through writing than vocal expression.

I'm only this confident around people I've know for a while or who I absolutely hate.

My virtual persona is the same as my real one. However, my autism doesn't keep me from expressing my personality online like it does in person. I love the internet.
 
My personality on this forum is pretty close to how I am in real life. I am long winded and I think I know everything. :thumbsup:
 
I'm not sure to be honest. I once emailed someone without saying it was me and they guessed straight away. I think I type how I talk. I am kind of chatty in real life but in a quirky way. I'm very strange.
 
What you see of me on Aspergic is pretty much me in real life. Only difference is I tend to "talk" more on Aspergic than in real life.
 
Much more formal, confident, but also perhaps a little too revealing.

It's safer online I feel. If people judge you, you're never going to meet them.

But I still like to make a nice opinion.
 
Pretty much like this (only to myself, in myself, often with thoughts going on), but infinitely more reserved and silent. The internet gives my personality a silent but loud VOICE without having to mirror my shyness.
