1. Yes...there is no need for a network connection. :)
2. Not as of yet...let me look into it and get back with you. It's a completely different code base, so I'd have to re-write it for Android. I'll get back to you on that. :)
 
I won't be developing for Android...too many hurdles and I really don't feel like dealing with google...for any reason. :)
