Did you try to go there and get something like this?

Obviously I can't pull anything up but I did a google search and got this. This was apparently a post presumably by maybe Alex - can't see anything further than what I've pasted here.

Feb 23, 2026 — Our hosting provider is going out of business because their datacenter is raising rates 5X on them. This seems to be happening industry wide...

Tend to agree with the above,Abby normal , etc.(with the addition) that under the current political
administration and some of the posts that had appeared critiquing the same Admin .
The Liability of operating a site . With such open opinions . Might create such a liability
for a person operating , such a site under the dimishing 1st amendment rights circumstances created by that same Administration . Aswell as potentially "protecting" people that had been participating on W.P. with a possibly critical opinions of the USA s current admin.
Given the long reaching various intelligence capabilities of the same Admin.
And "its proven responses" against persons in much more substantially more powerful positions than a Admin. of the WP site . Could hope for a return of such a site otherwise

Reality is, I heard that the owners of the hosting site went bankrupt(?) which is why even Alex was not informed until a few days before the last day...

I also heard that an alternative hosting site was being sought in an effort to get things back running again.

That is the last I heard so I can't say anything more as I have not heard anything more.

Maybe their costs zoomed up and they only realized last minute? Who knows? We can't blame as we may be blaming the wrong people where no one is trying to be mean... It is what it is.

All we can do is be patient and hope that the situation can be resolved, so let's hope everything can be sorted and Alex, or someone else helping Alex can find a way...

Let's be grateful this site is ok.

AI is sucking up all the computing resources. RAM prices tripled overnight a few months ago (now 5x higher) and storage prices and now 3x higher after companies like OpenAI (ChatGPT) bought everything they could. They went to companies with the highest market share and bought their entire production for the rest of this year and some of the next 2 years. I'm guessing they're paying whatever it takes to buy existing datacenters now to expand capacity, leaving limited access and much higher prices for everyone else due to the limited capacity remaining. Let's hope half the web doesn't go down.
 
oh my , the above potentially sounds very supportive in some manner. imho .Often many people were successfully able to manage to get themselves banned from that site , as has been explained to me . by other participants from other sights , have visited over the last year. Far be it from me to doubt others political opinions on this site concerning political POV , In this support thread.
