I felt it best to tell you about this lovely lady and her work. She is a member of this website but is also the founder of another forum called Asperclick.

The following is from her website:

Thanks for stopping by!

As you probably know, I'm WillowHope and I'm the founder of the Aspergers Forum 'Asperclick'. I have Asperger Syndrome, Dyspraxia and Attention Deficit Disorder. I also struggle with anxiety and depression. But I'm working through my issues, and in the process I try and help others out who are experiencing similar things.

From here you can keep up to date with (and comment) on my blog. I will update you all on my latest videos and what not; you can also see my Twitter feed on the right hand side. Please also browse around the store and see if anything takes your fancy, any profits are put back into things like the forum and the YouTube videos, and I still put my own money towards those as well, so it's really not about the money.

My site is an ongoing project and it's somewhat unfinished for the time being whilst I try and sort out my personal life. Please be patient with me whilst I figure out just how much of my past, present and future I wish to share. I've always been very open with you and it's bothering me now to look back on how much of my life was public. So for a while, videos and blogs may be unavailable, maybe forever, maybe not. I hope you understand.

Willow x

Be sure to check out her website here - there's a lot of interesting stuff to look at and even some autism related merchandise you can buy (See here: Shop)

Hope you like what you see.

I understand that quite a number here, such as myself and "Progster," Sofi, and even Willow herself are regulars there, and many more may be lurkers and know what I am like there.

I notice that it has autism alert cards, and it's a UK based website, but much of the UK actually does free official ones which include contact information which this one lacks. I have an official one which I got for free and it has my parents' phone numbers on it in case I'm in an emergency situation.

That said, the other stuff looks good.:)

Where do you get the official ones from?

Where do you get the official ones from?
Depends. Different for each part of the UK. I'm actually trying to make a complete list, it's a work in progress, but here's everything I've found so far: (PLEASE NOTE THIS IS REALLY EARLY AND MY NOTES AND NOT EVERYTHING I'M SURE OF YET AND NOT EVERY LINK IS FOR AUTISM AND AT LEAST ONE OF THESE WAS NOT FREE)

Yeah, Yorkshire supposedly has them but I haven't found any real information on them. If you do please let me know so I can add it to my list, and once it's of real substance I'll post it on the resources here. I was never intending on putting it online in such an early stage. It is literally just notes I've taken based on the fact I own one myself.

Well, so, who here is a regular or lurker on asperclick?

That might depend on your definition of "regular" but I've been going there for about 2 years now and have a 1000+ post count, so... still not as active as some others there, but I'd say I'm a somewhat frequent face there

I did use the term somewhere on that forum. It was in that thread you mentioned you had to go to a special school.

Yes I think I remember, that was one way I felt different to a lot of others. But it's ok, everyone is different anyway I guess.
