Have any of you actually had some realizations, and moved emotionally on from help with others on the spectrum? Like they just made your life brighter and you understood they struggled perhaps way worse than you did, yet they found time to be in your lifetime?

So l would just like to shout out to that special person. Thank you for being there.

What has been great for me is -- I have such trouble putting my inner experiences into words. And here, people more gifted than I at descriptions or identifying or something, can write it down and I can say, "Yes, that's it!"

That helps me a lot. I see this regularly. Thank you to all of you.

Absolutely, I’ll always be grateful to the people who bravely talk about deeply personal struggles on here to stand in solidarity with myself and others, both on the forum and via PM. They really helped me out with navigating through my own issues.

So hopefully I can respond in kind by giving back to the community and sharing my own stories to help other people out there.

Thank you all for what you do.

That is just the best thing ever. Thank you for sharing this!

100% agree with what everyone else is posting. I have benefitted so much from people sharing their trials, their perspectives, and their insights here.

Love ya, AutismForums!
