What song are you listening to right now?

The star said the name "Billy Idol" was inspired by a schoolteacher's description of him as "idle".

Good 'ol Youtube algorithm and blues... thinks because I Like one song, I want to hear everything they've ever done..

I don't actually like Billy Idle, that much. But it beats silence. I'll give his music a chance...

The Cure - Boys Don't Cry

A playful tune about a neurosexist stereotype. But. It's. Not. True. :openmouth: Boys DO cry! Just not as much as girls.

I somehow missed this album. I've listened to most of the others. My favorites are probably Disintegration & Wish.

A few people here are feeling haunted, so here's a topical song.

Lyrically I think this is a wonderful "be careful" - and musically, well, wow. That heartbeat of a bass line just beating quietly in the face of everything that ever happens. Music can be eloquent where words don't cut it.
