What song are you listening to right now?

Joanna Newsom - "Sawdust and Diamonds"

This is easily a song that go into the "Sad, Sad Songs" thread. It's all about death. But I decided to warm up my tube amp, fire up my turntable, and whip out some of my vinyl discs. Next up may include some Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Frank Zappa, Alabama Shakes...Who can know? It shall be at my own whims, teehee.

Talking about Hendrix (and Dylan): as I stepped out of the notary office after signing the papers to sell the house, first song my iphone decided to throw at me was this...
Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower

Sadly I do not have that one on an original vinyl pressing! I do, however, have Blood on the Tracks and a monaural pressing of Bringing It All Back Home. Both may make an appearance before the night is finished.

All I have on vinyl from Jimi & Bob is a bunch of Hendrix compilation albums and a '67 (again) stereo pressing of Highway 61 Revisited which, according to the liner notes, can also be played in mono provided a modern, lightweight pickup is used. Orpheus is mentioned too, so now I'm listening to this...
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - The Lyre of Orpheus

Edit: oh, and as it happens, I saw the light the same day Mozart's went out. ;)
