What Brings Autistic People Joy? New research showcases the diversity in autistic flourishing.

When in college I got a student loan realized I did not need it so bought a sound system , then vinyl albums.
noticed bands like cheap trick, Super tramp. Pink Floyd, Foreigner, and later Queen. Had No TV until married.

I can remember as a child hearing, for example, a joke that would make me want to play it over and over in my head and laugh out loud, but the other kids made fun of me, so I learned to stop doing that.

When I was older, I wanted to listen to the same song over and over again and was told that was stupid and so I stopped.

I’m not sure how to get back that kind of joy.

You can listen to it again or tell the joke again?
