this incident happened in my home town Melbourne in 1966.
Next year will mark the 60th anniversary. Putting aside the fact this is one of two of the most prominent mass sightings of UAPs in history involving several hundred school children. It's the testimony of what happened after the incident from children, teachers and other witnesses that makes this something out of Hollywood involving military, airforce, police, emergency services and unknown Australian, American and even Chinese operatives (the latter is odd given this was 1966 and no record of Chinese or American troops/operatives stationed in Melbourne ) giving the impression of various intelligence agencies arriving at the school and threatening witnesses. television crews covering the incident that day (everyone saw the Channel 9 van, camera operators, reporters and choppers) subsequently had no record of ever covering the story.
A common theme in the current US congressional hearings on UAPs is the claim from whistle-blowers of decades of cover up of this phenomena. to me it's remarkable how this could have been achieved for so long without some leak. However the Westall incident is (in my view) a smoking gun that even thousands of miles from Washington there's a cabal of groups involving the United States capable of covering up strange incidents very quickly and so efficiently as to establish immediate plausible deniability. either we should rest easy knowing such powerful forces keep us all safe, or....uneasy about what exactly is being kept hidden from us all.
