Weirdest Thought I've had in my life

So I was pretty sleep deprived, but when I got into bed I noticed that the sheets were slightly cool and had the thought "it feels like I'm sleeping onboard Voyager." It was such a random thought I laughed out loud to myself.

It's funny because how would you come up with an assumption about the temperature of a fictional location?

(I can only imagine that means that when I saw the show I should have kept the room warmer? Or maybe I associate it with science and science classrooms/labs are always freezing. ----Idk if it's to discourage bacteria, to discourage sweating into shared labcoats or to encourage you to wear the lab coats to survive the arctic freeze.)

Anyway...I thought I'd see if this gave anyone else a laugh too.

Most of the time when I'm laying down, I'm overcome with the sensation that I'm either on an elevator or in motion in some other kind of way (possibly sinking into the floor or being swallowed by the earth), so I often have to reframe it as something like gentle rocking, moving in a vehicle or something kind of normal in an attempt to get my brain to stop focusing on it.

So, in a roundabout way, I guess I sleep onboard the voyager every night. For better or worse ;)
