Wedding Dresses

Hello everyone!!
As part of my current university module I am aiming to design and create a sensory friendly bridal gown.
As I am not wishing to rely solely on my own experiences and opinions, any insights would be massively appreciated!
This could be things like:
The best fastenings
Colour and fabrics
Loose or tight fit
Accessories (veils, shoes, jewellery etc)
Seams, hemlines, necklines etc
Thoughts on embellishments (beadwork, sequins, embroidery etc)
What would you look for in a wedding dress and what annoys you about the dresses on the market today?

Thank you!!

Wedding dresses are highly individualistic. Some people want floor length dresses, others want knee length dresses, some want pants suits. Some want bright white, others want ivory. Some want simplicity, others want bling. Some want a veil, others do not. Some even wear their mother's old wedding dress as a tradition; others wear ripped up blue jeans barefoot on a beach. Some want satin, others want polyester.

A common complaint about a store-bought wedding dress is the expense.

There are hilarious photos of people's chosen wedding attire on the internet.

I guess the dress is important but I believe the ride more so.

The venue can also dictate the wedding attire, casual vs formal. l was married at the beach, just loved the ocean crashing by.
