I haven't seen the series, but I previously watched Jenna Coleman (the main character) in her seasons of Doctor Who and have it on my list to watch in the future because of all the good buzz I've heard about it. It doesn't surprise me that she's acted extremely well, though, because she is quite the actress.

It's good to know that it's historically accurate as well!
 
you can only watch Doctor Who the new series on BBC America but you can see seasons 1 to 8 on Amazon Prime
