Very sad story

This is a terribly sad news story, and I think there are plenty of people here who would care over it. Warning: it is a very strong story.

The death no one cares about - Philly.com

edit: I have looked up the care organisation in charge of her at the time of her death, and they have released a statement on their website, so in order to give a balanced report, here is their link:
Casmir Cares

It looks like there will be an ongoing enquiry into this.

I remember hearing about this. I sincerely hope this woman's death is properly investigated and that people stop sweeping it under the rug. More needs to be done. Until then, we aren't doing right by Christina or her family.

Thanks for posting the update. I was particularly struck by this:

"I didn't want moral support; I wanted my daughter back," Sankey says. "And why would you bring your disabled child to visit a woman whose disabled child you just lost?"
Obviously the man who brought his son had good intentions, but . . . that was a rather thoughtless gesture, if you ask me.
