Trying to "engineer" life

I did make it to the car show much earlier and yes, got some good photos there... But I'm still disappointed that no one else seemed to buy into my idea for a camera club field trip... I would have traded a few people coming to the field trip even if I got to the car show a little later in the day, because that would validate me more...
