Travel anxiety

That is very similar to the route I took in 85 but I didn't get as far as Darwin.
Back then there was an outfit for Camel rides nearish Alice Springs. If you can manage it, it is a lot f fun! Better than horses I think.
 
I’d skip Taree and drive on to Booti-Booti NP. It gets nice and quiet after school is back.
I read those flooded roads are on their way to getting repaired.For a while food and clean water were getting briught in by air. Take care out tthere. And have fun!
 
The map is so cool.
If I were ever to see Australia, I would probably want to see the usual attractions of Ayres Rock,
The Black Rocks and Alice Springs. :D
