I'm just so discouraged by this job hunt. It seems my options are either data science or some version of finances. Neither of which I have the qualifications for. I just want to write about math and science. That's all. But then nobody will let me do that either.

I just want to hide under a rock.
 
Job hunts are horrid. I hope you find a nice rock – sometimes rocks are good for hiding.

Job hunting is happening now for me too and it’s horrible. Extremely demotivating. I have to remember that I have had a job before and I didn’t expect to even get that one. but it’s hard to see this when you’re demotivated.
