Finally got to see this show on BBC America. Loved it.

Especially enjoyed the European topography and countryside, apart from cars not necessarily seen in the US. Every bit as entertaining as the US version of this show.

I dislike Jeremy Clarkson very much. For many valid reasons. He made me dislike it lol OK, maybe there were some amusing moments from some of the episodes I watched a very long time ago. Maybe if he wasn't one of the hosts, I wouldn't have judged it so harshly. I don't know.

The last time I saw an episode was probably about 13 years ago when I was living in Glasgow.

I didn't even know there was a US version.

Clarkson was booted off the show a couple of years ago after an incident wherein he punched a member of production staff in a hotel. He always was a boorish, unpleasant man though I'll concede he could be witty at times.

I believe now it's primary presenter is Matt le Blanc (Joey Tribbiani from "Friends")

The episode's cast I watched yesterday was with Chris Harris, Rory Reid and Matt LeBlanc.

Can't comment on the past cast since I've only seen this one UK episode. Though I've always enjoyed the peculiar chemistry of the US version's cast with Tanner, Adam and Rutledge.

I stopped watching Top Gear after the 3 stooges (Clarkson, May and Hammond) left. I've never really been into cars, so I just watched it for the comedy value mainly.

I wonder if they still have the "some say..." bit about the Stig?

I once watched an episode that my buddy recorded. The one where they were driving Lorrys. I enjoyed it.
