Today's Weather, Explained With A Movie Scene

You know, that one lady we met that one time.

It's dumping buckets here, so I think this scene from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh visualizes it perfectly.

How's the weather where you live?

Breezy, about 12 Centigrade, rained earlier. Warmish for the mid autumn. That's UK North West. No bears about but I spotted a Gruffalo in the woods.

Cloudy and 44 degrees with the fall colors at their peak. In another two weeks we will have a gray, black and white world until spring.

Not a video, still.

Today's weather is exactly like the rainstorm from Bambi.

(Well everything except the lightning. It's just really rainy. We had a big drought this summer, and we've already made up for that and then some just in this past week.)

The rain we had on the weekend was the first major rain we've had in Alberta in a very long time... It has been a dry summer here, but then parts of southern Alberta are prone historically to drought already...
