I can afford to buy things because I have a lifetime of experience at giving new life to things others throw away.Groceries and Medicine. You all can actually afford to buy things in this economy?
I tried it and it seems to take more energy. Also, really big wide shoes are better for those of us with balance issues. Why aren’t you cross country skiing?
It's the falling over 5x in a row before I get moving that dials the frustration up on me.It’s the sustained forward motion that gives stability in XC skis.
Yeah, there is that learning curve. It's the falling over 5x in a row before I get moving that dials the frustration up on me.
I know.Truly not kidding about the balance issues.
That was my attitude toward my canoe trip this past summer. I support it 100%.If I try out snowshoeing and it turns out it is beyond what my heart can handle, well, I have the satisfaction of having given it my best shot and I'll sell the shoes and move on to the next activity. Not trying will eat at me worse than failing ever does.
