Not witty at all, but I chuckled when after my third apology for being a major doofus, a friend just laughed at me and said she thinks I'm funny when I'm apologise. I should never underestimate the Importance of Being Earnest.
 
Actually, it's lucky I found it funny...There was a guy coming into work this morning who was absolutely FURIOUS that the vending machine for the local paper was eating his quarters. It's like, Dude. We don't have anything to do with that. And yet he was DEMANDING that we put up a sign and kept lecturing us on how "it's bad PR!" Funnily enough, he seemed exactly the sort of person who would be really upset about not being able to buy this local rag (which shall remain nameless; I shall simply say it is one of the worst newspapers you could ever have the misfortune to read). I guess it's good that these people merely amuse me now rather than piss me off...or maybe that's a sign that I've gotten too cynical...hmm...
