The Computer Chronicles

The Penguin

Chilly Willy The Penguin
I wanted to share a computer TV show called The Computer Chronicles that were aired on PBS from the 80's to early 2000's. Each episode covers different area of technology. I find the show is very interesting to watch to learn how the technology involved over the years. This is the direct link The Computer Chronicles - YouTube to all the episodes. Below I have also include a video on computer graphics in 1984. I hope you enjoy watching this show as much as I did.

I may not understand all the technical stuff about computers but watching that video is still very interesting for me. I love old technology and graphics. Thanks for sharing the video.

Speaking of computers, I recently purchased a Commodore VIC-20, what do you think of that computer?

I glad you enjoy the show.

From reading briefly about VIC-20, it does have a very interesting history. I didn't know they have a large software library and games. I like also they was able to offer an affordable price to give people the option to have experience with the computer.

It's a great show, very interesting and informative.

I read that the VIC-20 was the first computer to sell one million units. I did not realize the VIC-20 had so much software and games for it until recently, and I hope in time I can collect some more stuff for it. I do like how it was at an affordable price for that time, I'm sure it must have helped introduce many people to computers.
