Q2112

Watched the Accountant movie and it woke me up. So at age 56.... I now have answers to SOOoooo many events in my life. Been unemployed for 3 years....I have learned a lot in the past few weeks. It is a bit overwelming. One thing i have learned while watching youtube videos is the one common ( just hang on for the punchline) traight of aspies is .... "Deep breath..... exhale sigh ..."... thats it .... yea we have worked hard everyday of our lives... and it IS frustrating. So sighs are the one common thing I have seen and i understand. But Im going to find my seed and help it grow.

Welcome to AC. Autism can be difficult to wrap your head around. I was diagnosed 2 years ago and I am still struggling to make sense of myself.

hi Q2112,welcome to AC,i hope you stick around and share your experiences with us,its a great community here no infighting/drama like you get on certain ASD forums.

ive watched the accountant to,i got very confused by it because it kept flipping from different ages and back again,i also think because he was technically a severe aspie as a child he could not have been so mild as an adult, regardless of the fact he had had therapies, but thats just my thought anyway, what did you think of the portrayal?

you might like snow cake if you relate to temple grandins level and presentation of high functioning autism.
another aspie/HFA film aparently worth watching is mozart and the whale, the guy it was based on was a wrong planet member years ago, ive never watched it though.
