What about things like the cranberry sauce, the pumpkin pie, ect.?I intend to hide in my room here throughout that day.
Crackers and a sandwich, likely.
The only meat I'm generally willing to eat is tuna, for some reason. Wont eat any other meat. But tuna is okay somehow. So maybe that'll be what's in the sandwich.

I like turkey but it's too much work for me to cook 20-pound turkeys like I used to do. These days, our family cooks all kinds of things for holidays - steak, roast, ham, chicken, lobsters, salmon, etc. and sometimes even lasagna.
I refuse to thank my blood mother.Reminded me of that sad day when my mother lamented that she's done with cooking. So many great meals over the years. Many years...of toiling over a stove just to feed us. And especially to think of what it took Mom to cook an always successful Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings.
So thank mothers everywhere...because it won't last forever. For me it's just a pleasant, but distant memory and little else now.
