Today I've been blasted by the sound of leaf blowers, screaming children, shouting colleagues and hooning hoons, and I've gone to have an exhausted snooze with earmuffs on. Then I've logged on here and realised you are the only people in my life who understand how hard it can be to get through an average day. (With the exception of the husband and dog.)

It is a relief to be able to find a place that doesn't judge us.

Glad your husband is there for you and your dog ( either you have no issue with barking or doesn't bark)?

I think I might have to get a pair of ear defenders ( or is that regular hear plugs, used for music)?

Ear muffs = ear defenders. The dog doesn't bark much - she's pretty good.

Wish I could sleep on my back then I'd wear them to sleep with as well. As it is, they become like suction cups after awhile. How to immediately tell if someone is an aspie; the marks on the side of their cheeks from the ear muffs. Plus the "What?" if we hear anything at allWhat?
