Wales is very green in the South (West Wales is in the South), is wild and very rural with rolling hills half way up (Mid Wales) and North has the rocky mountains.
Most of the castles are either in the South or North. The majority of the population live in the coastal areas in the very South or the very North Coast of Wales. The inbetween areas are nice, green and rural. Wales is populated by just over 3 million people.

Ahhh.. sounds lovely ,,,have spoken to my friend about a visit ? and was worried about temperstures over there. but it sounds so lovely . Does thst part of that area deal with fleas or ticks ,type of insects very much? But honestly to be able to see actual Castles would the best for me.. not to say, thst I would be thrilled to ride on any narrow guage rsilway ! 😎😎😳

and he pauses to drink from a stream.

A passing shepherd calls out "Dinnae drink frae that, it's all fulla coo piss an shite!"

The American says to him "I'm terribly sorry sir, would you very much mind repeating that in proper English?"

And the shepherd says "I'm terribly sorry sir, I was only asking if you would like to borrow this tin cup and get a proper drink?"
