Talking About Toilets....

This is one of the nicest flushing toilets one will ever see, and is very rare as it is in white. These toilets were very expensive compared to ordinary toilets, and most who bought them had ordered them in petal yellow, lime green or a light blue. Hardly anyone ordered them in white, as white was considered the lower class "Common" colour that ordinary cheaper toilets came in.

Where we moved in had two of these toilets in petal yellow, one upstairs with a matching sink and bath which also had matching "Bird" tiles in white with the bird patterns in matching yellow, and downstairs just had the petal yellow toilet pan, as the two sinks downstairs were the latest (In those days) stainless steel kitchen type sinks (One being in the kitchen).
Enjoy!!!

Did you like that? Did you see how incredible the flush was coping with the toilet paper? Using these luxury toilets was a real pleasant experience I can tell you, as one heard a highly satisfying splash as one went. They also cleaned themselves better as everything was in the toilet water.

Reminds me of the old joke... "They said that toilet water was good for the face. Tried it but the lid fell on my head!" :D

Anyway! I thought I would share what is now becoming quite sought after toilets. If you move into a house with this type of toilet never change it. It is one of the best!

Does this toilet speak a foreign language? Just asking for a friend.....

I moved out of the place that had one of those toilets left so I can't ask it. It was interesting as it had a suction to its flushing effect. It was no ordinary regular toilet!

It did flush with a different accent if that makes sense? Does that help? (Sounds slightly French?) :D

I don't see any paper on the video. Also it made me anxious, because at one point it felt like the water will go overboard! But yes, once my brain registered that it's okay, I liked the way it flushed.

Keep watching. He does a second flush. Those toilets are meant to look as if they overflow but that is to create a good flush.

These toilets were made by Aritage Shanks which was formed from two companies in 1969, which were Armitage and Shanks. (Armitage would have "Armitage ware" written on them).
Both companies actually made rather impressive toilets in the past and combined their knowledge from their past designs to come up with these beauties! (As seen above).

oh yeah there was a second flush, i like how it just sucked it all in in one go without spinning it around, very interesting

I met many toilets on my tour of Japan.
First: The killer airplane toilet. I've never seen anything with so much pressure.

Next, every hotel I went to had an advanced toilet seat like this. One of them even had a sink on top of it.
I was excited to poop just to use the bidet. It cleans extremely well and it's fast. Why I haven't installed one at my house is beyond me.

Oh how I wish for a bidet .... In the US we have American Standard , normally only available in White . American Standard has many models , am hoping for alittle taller one ,to get off it more easily . But have heard that the extra squat, helps the human plumbing work better inside of a person, but Idk the accuracy of this . ?

I can attest that pooping in a full squat makes a huge difference. I doubt the height difference of a slightly taller toilet will be easily noticeable.
Looks like a great solution for desperate times.

I had a very tall mate who built his own house, and he got the plumbers to make a little concrete plinth a couple of inches high to mount the toilet on so he didn't feel like he was sitting there with his knees up around his ears. He was only allowed to do that to one of the toilets though because his wife was really short.
