For 20 years, Mitchell McLanaghan has turned his hand to producing eye-catching models out of Babybel-style cheese wax wrappings.

Using the red wrapping, the the 32-year-old from Newcastle can turn his hand to anything from Disney characters to fruit and vegetables.

And his work has attracted admirers from all over the world who send him cheese wax to carry on his work.

He is amazing... not my kind of sculptures but who cares... Thats really cool

BUT, does he really eat all that cheese to collect all that wax? : )

That's amazing. Would there be any may to treat the sculptures so they don't melt or distort afterwards?

Wow.
