Funny to learn about that scene where the guy's bike catches fire. A repossessed Husky.

But then watching them demolish a vintage Corvette convertible in "Con Air"...not so funny!

Same here. I just tried searching, but thus far haven't found anything definitive. Here's an interesting article:

Smith and McQueen were riding Huskeys. Not surprising since Smith was a Husqvarna dealer. At that time Lawwill was a Harley-Davidson factory rider and could not be seen riding another brand in a movie. However Harley did not make a bike suitable for that type of riding. So they rebadged a 1969 Greeves 360 so that looked like a Harley. The only reason I knew that is because I was riding a 360 Greeves at that time. The only difference was that mine had a leading link front fork.
