Philosopher uses game theory to understand how words, actions acquire meaning
It doesn't really explain social meanings, only how they came to be. Which I can get, it is sort of like when my sister and I communicate solely through movie quotes, and it's not autistic per se, but we know what we mean because of shared experience and others don't. But I've never thought about it this way. I've never thought about thinking about it this way. Mathematical models, sure. (And those fall flat because of insufficient data and that I don't really care.) But never game theory.
