Silence 3 Nights

In The Holy Qur'an, God says, and narrates:

He said, ‘My Lord, how shall I have a son while old age has overtaken me and my wife is barren?’ Said He, ‘So it is that Allah does whatever He wishes.’

He said, ‘My Lord, grant me a sign.’ Said He, ‘Your sign is that you will not speak to people for three days except in gestures. Remember Your Lord much, and glorify Him morning and evening.’

If i didn't speak for 3 days, i strongly suspect they Hell personell (read: Health-Personell) would be agressive or Physical. They can take this as an excersice, for themselves, and i don't think their surrounding would cooperate.

So meditation and silence for 3 days

Does this mean you intend to take a vow of
silence for the next three days?

Without informing anybody in your building/the staff?

Or will you let them know, so that they can understand your intention?

I wouldn't inform them and clash, for reasons many.

Edit: This vow of silence was for "Zakarias".

Imam Ali (as) said:

صِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ صِيَامُ الدَّهْرِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ «مَنْ جاءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ عَشْرُ أَمْثالِها»

Whoever [voluntarily] fasts three days every month is considered as having fasted his whole life, for verily God, the Almighty and Exalted, says, “Whoever brings virtue shall receive ten times its like.”

Further, I'm Mustafa. I'm ... not Jesus (s), not Mohammed (s), not Allah and not a dog nor cat. I'm Human. My God is Allah. My book is Qur'an. My Prophet is Mohammed (s). My Imam is Ali (as) The Commander of The Faithful. My ID is Shia. Norway and world and www needs to give me ID.

So, if you were embarking on a vow of three days silence,
you wouldn't tell staff.

Even though it appears you realize that they'd have no
idea what you were doing, and be unlikely to guess at
your motivation.

If you were to undertake a 3 day silence, it looks as if
you'd be setting yourself up for conflict by not
informing personnel of your intention.

I think i'm a caller to Mindful meditation/practise. ... What is mindfullness?

Edit: maybe ... in utter imho

I do not see what the benefit to you is of not telling the staff.

If you want to develop a practice of meditation/stillness that is a good thing. However, it does not develop instantly, it takes time. Often it is good to have someone who is more experienced in meditation to talk with.

I would not expect the staff where you are to be good at this, it's not their training.
