Should I Have Told Her The Truth?

I am going to answer your question. Nope, you weren't ready for that Soul Mate. No matter how much l think something is perfect, timing is everything. Either that person hasn't grown enough, l haven't grown enough, or there are other constraints such as already married
I agree.

This kind of experience has happened a few times. Seeing something arriving seemingly 'perfect' that I'm just not ready for. I get to almost taste the sweetness of it, as if it is so close all I have to do is reach out and touch it for it to exist. I have even been able to do so once or twice, and for a moment it seems real, just as the sand of reality slowly trickles through my fingers, and like a dream, it reveals it was never real at all. I wasn't real. I only thought I was.

I so agree.

The sweetness, the care shown. Two who like and share time together. Maybe thats the best thing in the whole world. Ships passing thru the nite. Sometimes we dock, other times we pass each other by. At the end of the day, l am okay.
