Hello, I've just started an evening course and am having some difficulties with sensory problems, interacting with the large group (10 people) and resulting reduced processing speeds and mini shutdowns when the above happens. I'm assessed as likely Aspergers but have not had full diagnosis yet. I wonder if it would be a good idea to tell the tutor about my difficulties or if I should just keep quiet and do my best. Any ideas? Thanks LJ

There would probably be no harm in telling your tutor about your difficulties. If the tutor is the type of person who would make a problem over that, they're not a very good person to have as a tutor.
