But anyway I was in an online group for typewriter collectors (aspie interest if there ever was one) and someone asked:

"I need parts--does anyone have a spare badge for a British Oliver portable?"(famous brand of antique typewriter, lasted longer in England than in the States as they switched over to making cute portables instead of spidery, archaic desktops.)

And some wag replied with:
"You want the Oliver badge, you gotta ride with the Oliver posse."
