I actually got that joke right away, surprisingly.

Helium on the periodic table is “He.” Michael Jackson’s vocals that kind of sound like he’s laughing are often written as “he he.”
Those are helium atoms.

I have seen jokes phrased like this before, and I think the implication is that Michael Jackson saying “he he” is coming out of nowhere.

Like “nobody” and “not a single soul in the universe” is doing it except for Michael Jackson.

Highly unlikely scenario, but I think that’s the joke lol
